The Finance Board, consisting of ten student representatives, reviews all proposed budgets on a first come, first served basis. Requests for funds are available each fall and spring semester for the upcoming academic session (ex: requests for the 2009 spring semester will have to be submitted before the predetermined date of the 2008 fall semester).
All Clubs/Organizations who would like to request funds from the Student Government Activity Fee must petition the Student Government Finance Board. The Finance Board is responsible for directing the appropriations and expenditures of the Student Activity Fee under the advisement of the Student Life Department.
A club/organization must have a complete constitution submitted to and approved by the CCO to be considered for funds.
The following guidelines have been developed to help your group better understand the role of the Finance Board. They are to provide a concrete outline of the rules and regulations created and implemented by the Finance Board of the Student Government of Sacred Heart University.
Please note that due to recent construction on the lower level of Hawley Lounge, my office will be temporarily located on the upper level of Hawley Lounge in the Student Life office suite.
