DENNIS A. SOKOL, M.I.M., CLINICAL ASST. PROFESSOR AND EXECUTIVE IN RESIDENCE
Dennis A. Sokol, Executive in Residence for the Management Department, joins Sacred Heart University John F. Welch College of Business after a long career as a senior executive in the health field and founder of healthcare related organizations throughout  the globe.  He served as the Chairman and CEO of First Medical Group (NYSE), CEO, Chairman of Hospital Corporation International PLC, as well as Medserve Corporation. He continues to sit on several boards to include the Alistagen Corporation, American Hospital Group, Harvey Cushing Council of Neurosurgery, Yale School of Medicine and as founding director of the US Russia Business Council.

Mr. Sokol has a Bachelor's degree from the  WP Carey School of Business at Arizona State University, and a Master's degree in International Management from Thunderbird, Gavin School of International Management, where he sits on the advisory board.  Mr. Sokol has taught at the College of Business, Public Policy and Health, University of Maine at Orono, and Fairleigh Dickinson University, in New Jersey.
