CHOIR COUNCIL
This club is open to any member of the choirs at Sacred Heart. The choirs often sing at community affairs, such as the annual Pipescreams Halloween Concert and the Fairfield Town Hall Tree Lighting. Their main goal is to spread and share their music to the university communtity, and to unite the choirs into one larger group. It can also help to serve as a place where members can voice their opinions and offer suggestions to improve the choirs.
DANCE TEAM
The Dance Team was founded to promote school spirit and to unite students with a common interest in dance. The team dances before the crowd during the half-time show at basketball and football games, pep rallies, Open Houses, and Activities Fairs. The team also competes with other colleges and universities in dance competitions.
PIONEER BAND COUNCIL
The SHU Band Council is the supporting organization of the Pioneer Bands. The council is comprised of Band Members and is responsible for fundraising, trip planning, recruiting, and various functions dealing with the overall operation of the program. They also sponsor several campus-wide events annually.
SHU ELITE
SHU Elite is the club that represents Gymnastics for the University community. They work together to help each other progress in the art while having fun at the same time. It is a great way to get in shape and sharpen skills.
SHU FORCE
Named as the 2003-2004 Club of the Year, the SHU FORCE Ensemble works to bring an array of different dance genres to the University community. They dance together on a weekly basis and host recitals at the end of each semester.
SHU PLAYERS
The SHU Players are an innovative and multi-talented group of students dedicated to producing entertaining, quality theatrical productions at SHU. The SHU Players also develop productions exploring issues facing students.
