WHAT HAPPENS IF STUDENTS RECEIVE OUTSIDE SCHOLARSHIPS?
A: There's a federal regulation that says aid cannot exceed the cost of education, so when students whose aid eligibility is being met by Sacred Heart University receive additional outside aid, we are required to reduce the aid package. It is important to note, if students subsequently lose their outside scholarship, for whatever reason, Sacred Heart University will restore the original package.
