JOB SEARCH RESOURCES
The fundamental job searching skills required to effectively conduct a job search are outlined in this section. After you have engaged in self assessment and have determined a focus, you will begin developing your job search tools and skills. Your primary tools are a well written resume and tailored cover letter.  Reviewing the section on Resume Writing is typically the best place to start.

Creating a job search plan, conducting research on your area of interest, networking with professionals in the field, and effective interviewing are important skills which you will use throughout your career. Students typically begin to hone these skills after completing a resume.
