FACILITIES/EQUIPMENT
The Media Studies department strives to have the best equipment, material, and facilities available to students whenever they may need them for their coursework. The department is constantly updating the materials offered in order to reach this goal. Students have access to cutting-edge digital media technology that will assist them in the production of high quality work in the classroom in addition to maintaining their knowledge and proficiency of the tools that will be required for their future professions.
In the Department of Media Studies and Digital Culture we are committed to blending theory and practice in all of our courses, and this is supported by an abundance of digital production equipment available for checkout. Our facilities include a studio for beginning and advanced HD television production courses and a state-of-the-art Media lab equipped with multimedia production workstations running the most up-to-date programs including Apple’s Final Cut Studio and Adobe’s Creative Suite software .
