NINA TARNER, PH.D.
Education: Ph.D., Kansas State University; MS, BA, Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania

Research Interests: Caloric densities of food and how it affects food intake and flavor preferences in rats

Courses Usually Taught: Introduction to Psychology, Learning Theory, Nonexperimental Research, Experimental Research, and Experimental Psychology: Learning

Biography:  Dr. Tarner began her career with the SHU Psychology Department in the Fall 2005 semester.  She has been conduting research on conditioned flavor preferences for the past 12+ years. She loves teaching and involving students in her research looking at conditioned flavor preferences in rats.
