Each year it co-sponsors a career night, which includes presentations by faculty from Psychology and other related disciplines on possible career paths for Psychology majors. It also sponsors other events, such as brown-bag lunch discussions of Psychology-related topics.

Psi Chi Psi Chi is the national honor society for Psychology majors, and the best of Sacred Heart University's Psychology students are inducted into the society each year. The Society sponsors scholarship opportunities and student research conferences, and provides students with advice on choosing and getting accepted to graduate programs in Psychology. Student Chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) is the world's largest association devoted to human resource management, representing more than 170,000 HR professionals. Students who are interested in a career in human resources can join Sacred Heart University's student chapter, which provides workshops on writing resumes and advice on obtaining employment after graduation.
