MISSION AND VALUES
Kappa Sigma is committed to complement and enhance the educational mission of Sacred Heart University, promote the ideals of Brotherhood, actively contribute to the personal growth and development of its members, promote ethical behavior and decision-making, and to encourage service to others.

ABOUT
Since its founding at the University of Virginia on December 10, 1869, Kappa Sigma has initiated more than 245,000 men on college campuses throughout the United States and Canada. Today, the Fraternity has over 175,000 living alumni and more than 13,500 undergraduate members.

PHILANTHROPY
Volunteerism, Citizenship, and Service to the Community. We consistently look for new ways to give back to our community and will do our best to tackle any cause by acting through our four pillars that represent fellowship, leadership, scholarship and service. As of January 2010, we have adopted Diabetes Awareness as a new philanthropic focus.
