Gail Samdperil, EdD, ATC, Program Director Athletic Training, Director of Clinical Education, Clinical Assistant Professor
Professor Samdperil came to Sacred Heart University in 1997 from Boston University, where she served as Assistant Clinical Professor and Clinical Coordinator in the Athletic Training Education Program. She received her Masters of Arts in Teaching from the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill and her BS from Boston University.
Professor Samdperil serves as the Program Director for the Athletic Training Program. In addition to administrative responsibilities, her teaching content areas focus on the evaluation and management of orthopedic assessment, rehabilitation of injuries and general medicine.
Professor Samdperil is a certified member of the National Athletic Trainers' Association and a clinical athletic trainer. She currently serves on the National Athletic Trainers' Association Board of Certification Role Delineation and Research Committee.
