Young Scientists: Journey into Space
Come join us on a weeklong journey into space. This hands-on science adventure will take you into the far reaches of the solar system. Imagine yourself as an astronaut or pretend you meet an alien. Let your curiosity be your guide as you participate in experiments to facilitate your learning about the solar system and principles of flight and space travel.
Grades 2 and 3
Young Scientists: Physical Science
The young scientists will explore an array of hands-on science in Physical Science. Fun and excitement is fostered by great lessons and hands-on experiments. The young scientists will explore a broad range of science topics including kitchen chemistry while making Science and Literature Connections. Bubbleology Science, Grow-Beasts measuring and graphing and Center of Gravity are just a few of the fun, fun activities.
Grades 2 and 3
Young Scientists: Life Science
The young scientists will explore an array of hands-on science in Life Science. Fun and excitement is fostered by great lessons and hands-on experiments. The young scientists will explore a broad range of science topics while making Science and Literature Connections. Build a worm farm, explore the world of insects, and set an ecosystem aquarium are just a few of the fun-filled activities.
Grades 2 and 3
Robotics
Discover the world of robotics while exploring circuits, sensors and the inner workings of robotics. Children will build, test and take home a Rockit Robot during this one week long session. OWITM robots are explored.
