SciTech 21 is a two-week program of hands-on science and instruction designed to provide its participants with exciting activities in areas of their own particular interest. It will provide students the opportunity to explore areas of science that they would not ordinarily be able to study in a traditional classroom. Courses are taught by highly-experienced, professional teachers in fully equipped, air-conditioned, science laboratories. Each project, demonstration, and experiment has been carefully selected with safety in mind. The focus of each course is on "learning by doing" in a relaxed, non-competitive atmosphere to make this a most valuable learning experience.
The program is held at Sacred Heart University on Park Avenue in Fairfield, Connecticut. It is conveniently located right off the Merritt Parkway, Exit 47 North or South. Take left at end of ramp and proceed one block. Sacred Heart is on right. Entrance on Park Avenue.
Eligibility:
Students who will be entering second through ninth grades in the Fall of 2008 are eligible to apply. Students should have an overall interest and enthusiasm for science.

GRADES 4-9 - $375 per course, except Robotics which is $400 per course (includes a $80.00 non-refundable registration fee) The New Advanced Robotics for 8th & 9th grades is $450 per course.
