COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT
A key element of the SHU educational experience is our rich palette of volunteer opportunities, helping children, low-income families, seniors and others – as well as impacting local politics, health, economy and the environment. By embracing outreach, students find tremendous fulfillment, essential career experience, and, in some cases, valuable educational credits through service learning.
