WE ARE CURRENTLY ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR THE SEPTEMBER 2008 COHORT ONLY
The Graduate Program in Geriatric Health and Wellness offers a 36-credit, part-time, trimester, structured plan of study that is comprehensively a distance-learning, on-line learning process. Students will follow the cohort model during their 24 months of study. The plan will involve taking 6 credits of coursework each 12-week semester, including one summer session.
Students can expect to spend 4 or more hours per week “logged on” to the course website, and complete 6 or more hours of readings and other assignments for each course taken. The University utilizes the Blackboard electronic system for delivery of the classes. Through this system, each course can be accessed on a 24 hour/7day basis to accommodate the varying schedules of the adult learner and their professional demands.
