If you wish to enroll in a payment plan or make a Payment in Full with FACTS Tuition Management, you must read, understand and agree to the following.

You will need the following information available to enroll in a payment plan:

• User ID = 7 digit Student ID Number (include zeros)
• Social Security Number is not an acceptable User ID
• Password = Students' birth date (enter XX/XX/XX) must include “/”
• Charges and or credits needed to calculate your payment plan
  1. Tuition and fees/Housing/Meal Plan costs*
  2. Financial Aid = Financial Aide Award Letter (do not use work study)**
  3. Outside Loan amounts

3. All payments will  be posted to the student's accounts receivable balance when payment is recieved from your bank (approx 10 days).
4. If you are enrolling in a Payment Plan, please be advised that the Plan can be calculate on a per semester basis only. 
5. If you add courses or incur any additional charges, these additional charges will not be automatically added to your payment plan. To make changes to your payment plan, contact Student Accounts 203-371-7925.
6. For Payment Plans, a $60.00 non-refundable FACTS enrollment fee will be automatically deducted from your account immediately
7. Payment Plans may require an immediate down payment please review the Facts Brochure.
8. For the Pay in full option, a per transaction, non-refundable FACTS processing fee will be automatically deducted from your account immediately and your payment will be posted to your tuition account as recieved by your bank (approx 10 days).
9. All credit card payment options both Payment Plan and Pay In Full carry a convenience fee (%)
10. Payment Plans with attempted payments that fail to clear two consecutive times may be cancelled at the discretion of the Sacred Heart University Bursar's Office.  All charges / fees paid to date will not be refunded.
11. Sacred Heart University reserves the right to impose a services charge of .75% per month on any balance for payments made after the 5^th of the month.
12. Sacred Heart University reserves the right to cancel your payment plan if you default in your agreemnent. 

Promissory Agreement

For value received, the Registered Student promises to pay to the order of Sacred Heart University all tuition and fees stated in the conditions of my registration agreement and if applicable the housing, meal plan and fees, hereafter called the principal.

In the event a payment is received later than the due date, a finance charge will be assessed at the rate of .75% per month on the unpaid balance (annual rate of 9%), such interest to be computed from the due date. Should any outstanding balance be referred to a credit or collection agency for collection, the signer of this note acknowledges that this may affect signer's credit rating.  Should suit be brought to recover this note, or should the same be placed in the hands of an attorney for collection, the maker(s) of this note promise to pay (holder's attorney fee), an amount equal to 15% of the principal amount owing hereon but in no event less than $50 in addition to the amount found owing hereon. 

In addition the University will not release grades, transcripts, diplomas, employer verification or allow a student to register for subsequent terms with a delinquent balance.

The University reserves the right to:

1. Request all delinquent payments be made in the form of a bank check or certified check.
2. Cancel classes (current and subsequent semesters) if accounts are not paid in compliance with Sacred Heart University Payment and or Registration polices.

Financial assistance and student loans are considered methods of payment. Should any financial assistance awards or loan amounts change, the resulting balances are the students' responsibility.
