Area of Specialization: Animal Behavior and Neuroscience

Description of Research Interest:
I have studied a number of different species in both the field and lab.  My research has included studies of electrocommunication in African electric fish and the behavioral and neural correlates of mating and cohabitation in monogamous prairie voles.  My most recent studies have been electrophysiological and neuroanatomical investigations of the auditory circuits employed in the processing of songbird vocalizations.
