APPOINTMENTS
COUNSELING SESSIONS ARE BY APPOINTMENT.

How to Make an Appointment
To make an appointment with a counselor, stop by the Counseling Center at Park Avenue House, located upstairs from Health Services and fill out an in-take form.  Office hours are Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. You may also wish to complete our online contact form.

Your first visit is called an intake session and will include a discussion about your current concerns.  Follow-up sessions are usually scheduled and last about 45 minutes.  The number of sessions would depend on the students needs and the presenting issue.

You will work to establish short-term objectives as well as long-term goals with your counselor.  Your commitment to the counseling process is key.  Each counselor at the Counseling Center believes that our role is to empower you to resolve your present problems and issues with our support and guidance.

*** Graduate Students, Faculty and Staff are limited to five (5) sessions. ***

NOTE: YOU MUST FILL OUT AN IN-TAKE FORM IN ORDER TO SET UP AN APPOINTMENT. YOU CANNOT MAKE AN APPOINTMENT FOR ANOTHER PERSON.  ALL APPOINTMENTS MUST BE MADE BY THE PERSON SEEKING COUNSELING.  YOU CAN MAKE A CONSULTATION APPOINTMENT WITH A COUNSELOR TO DISCUSS CONCERNS ABOUT ANOTHER PERSON.
