Area of Specialization: Invertebrate Ecology (Marine and Freshwater)

Description of research interests:
My research focuses on aquatic invertebrates with respect to:

1) the evolution of brooding as a reproductive strategy in bivalves

2) the influence of invasive species on invertebrate communities

3) the population ecology of the American Horseshoe Crab, Limulus polyphemus, in Long Island Sound
