Danny A. Pannese, MST, CPA/ABV, CVA, CSEP, is an Associate Professor of Accounting and Taxation at Sacred Heart University. He has taught accounting and tax courses at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.

Mr. Pannese has worked for KPMG Peat, Marwick as well as the Internal Revenue Service as a Field Agent and an Appeals Officer. When he is not teaching at the University, he has been called on to teach Internal Revenue Agent training courses. Mr. Pannese maintains a practice concentrating on expert witness work and representation before the Internal Revenue Service.

Mr. Pannese received his Bachelor's degree in accounting from Sacred Heart University and a Masters of Science in Taxation from the University of New Haven.

Mr. Pannese is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the American Institute's Tax Division, the Connecticut State Society of Certified Public Accountants, the Connecticut State Society of Certified Public Accountants Federal Tax Committee, and Connecticut State Society of Certified Public Accountants Estate & Gift Tax Committee. He is a Certified Valuation Analyst, a member of the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts, as well as a Certified Specialist in Estate Planning. He has earned the Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) designation for the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Mr. Pannese has published in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountant's Tax Adviser, the Journal of Accountancy, the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts' The Valuation Examiner, he has written the tax and audit portions of the Uniform Certified Public Accountant examination.
