Michael J. Zhang, Assistant Professor, received a BA from Guangdong University of Foreign Studies in People's Republic China, an MBA from Gonzaga University, an MPA from Eastern Washington University, and a Doctor of Business Administration from Cleveland State University. His teaching focus is strategic management, and his research areas include strategic management of information technology, knowledge management, strategic flexibility and organizational learning.

Dr. Zhang has presented and published papers at various national and international academic conferences including Academy of Management Meetings, Decision Sciences Institute Meetings, International Conference of Association of Management, and International Conference on Advances in Management. He has also published articles in such academic journals as Journal of Management, Technovation, and Journal of Managerial Issues. Dr. Zhang is a member of Academy of Management and Decision Sciences Institute.
