Dr. Andra Gumbus received her BA in English from Miami University, her Masters in Public Administration from the University of New Haven and her Doctorate in Educational Leadership from the College of Business at the University of Bridgeport. She teaches undergraduate courses in Organization Management, Organizational Behavior and Business Ethics. Her graduate courses include Organizational Management and Business Communication and Team Management.

Her research in the area of Business Ethics includes a publication in the Journal of Information, Communication and Ethics in Society. She has published thirteen articles on performance management emphasizing the use of the corporate balanced scorecard. Her research in Organizational Behavior includes four articles on human resources and career development. Dr. Gumbus has presented at twenty regional, national and international conferences.

She has received the following research awards: SHU College of Business Research Award 2003, and the Eastern Academy of Management Conference Best Paper Case Association Award 2003.
