Dr. Khawaja Mamun, Associate Professor of Business Economics, earned his Ph.D. and M.A. in Economics from Southern Methodist University. Prior to that he earned his M.S.S. and B.S.S. (Hons.) in Economics from the University of Dhaka in Bangladesh.

Dr. Mamun had taught principles and senior level economics courses at Southern Methodist University as an Adjunct Lecturer and Teaching Fellow.  He teaches Principles of Economics, Applied Economics, and Money & Banking. 

He has publications in Journal of Urban Economics, Journal of Environmental Economics & Management, Public Finance Review.  He has presented at numerous Regional, National and International Conferences.
