Theological Questions

How do Jews and Christians approach and talk about G-d? What value is there in abstract theological dialogue between different religious faiths? How does theology affect our daily lives?

Question: I am still confused about the Trinity. Do Christians believe in one God or three? -HB

Answer: This is a most difficult belief for Christians too. Christians believe that One God has been revealed in three persons: as a Father or Creator, the Son in Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. Each revelation of the Trinity is fully God in a coequal, coeternal, infinite and indivisible relationship with each other. The mystery of God is certainly much more than these attempts to describe the ultimate Christian revelation. -MP
