Karen Flanagan, MA, LPC, Coordinator of Peer Education.  

Ms. Flanagan began her professional relationship with Sacred Heart University's Counseling Center in 1999.  She joined the staff as a Personal Counselor following completion of the Counseling Psychology Program at Boston College's Graduate School of Education and several years of experience with adolescents in university, community agency, and residential treatment settings.  Ms. Flanagan's strong relationships with students and her interest in college student identity development, successful transition to a campus environment, and healthy lifestyle choices made her a perfect candidate for the role of Peer Education Coordinator.  She currently supervises eighteen peer educators and continues to organize and develop this new Sacred Heart University initiative
