The Sacred Heart University Intramural Program offers a variety of leagues, contests, classes, and special events for students to participate in.  It is believed that an involved student is a happy student.  Physical activity promotes the general wellness of an individual. All students are encouraged to participate.

**Some events require fees. If there is a fee associated with this event, it will be collected at the captains meetings. Teams will not be placed on the schedule until the fee is collected. If a forfeiture fee is being collected, the team captain or representative must attend the captains meeting or the fee will not be returned.
Agreement for Waiver, Release and Hold Harmless The Intramural Sports staff intends that all participants have a safe experience, but absolute safety is not possible. Participation in intramural sports activities, including use of intramural facilities and equipment, is completely voluntary. Intramural sports activities are unsupervised by Sacred Heart University personnel. Be aware there are risks and hazards, minor and serious, associated with participation in intramural sports (athletic/recreation) activities. Participants voluntarily assume all responsibility and risk loss, damage, illness, and/or injury to person or property associated with participation in intramural sport activities. Physical, mental and emotional trauma may occur from participation in athletic endeavors. Intentional or unintentional impact to the person may occur from and with other participants. Sacred Heart University, its officers, agents, and employees and students are not responsible for any loss, damage, illness or injury to person or property arising out of or relating to participation in intramural sports activities, including the use of intramural facilities and equipment. Sacred Heart University Intramurals does not provide medical, health, or other insurance for participants. Purchasing adequate health/medical insurance prior to participation is strongly recommended. In consideration for participation in intramural athletics this waiver and release must be signed. The undersigned agrees to indemnify and hold Sacred Heart University and its officers, agents, students and employees harmless from any and all claims, losses and liabilities, including attorney’s fees arising out of the under insured’s participation. I also acknowledge that I and/or my teammates may be photographed for school purposes (e.g., website, calendar, advertising) and I will inform my teammates of this fact.
