Research interests: Doctoral Dissertation on Non-Euclidian Bianchi Groups. Current research efforts continue to be in Group Theory.
Courses Usually Taught : Modern Mathematics I & II, Mathematics/Calculus for Decision Making, Precalculus, Calculus I, II, III & IV, Linear Algebra, Abstract Algebra, Real Analysis and Complex Analysis
Biography: Dr. Kingston completed her doctoral degree in 1993 as a non-traditional student. She taught full-time and raised three children as a single mother while earning her Ph.D. This has made Dr. Kingston keenly aware of students' needs for guidance, encouragement and understanding. Dr. Kingston's door is always open to her students for help and advisement. She has an especially strong interest in advising math majors on career choices, often arranging events which enable them to interact with mathematics alumni.
