Clinical Physical Therapist
Jonathan joins Sacred Heart University in August 2013 as a clinical physical therapist and clinical instructor in musculoskeletal examination and treatment. He is board certified as an orthopedic physical therapy specialist by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialists. He also is a fellow with the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists. His area of specialty care is with patients that have spinal pathology. He has worked providing care in the Duke Spine clinic and taught musculoskeletal examination and treatment in the Duke University doctoral physical therapy program.
Jonathan will also be teaching in the musculoskeletal classes on intervention and clinical reasoning in the doctoral program at Sacred Heart University. He is very excited for the opportunity to teach aspiring physical therapists and to further his own knowledge and treatment abilities.
Jon is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association, the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy and the National Strength and Conditioning Specialists and Kinesio Taping Association International.
