John De Noyelles PT, DPT, CSCS
John recently graduated from the Doctor of Physical Therapy program at Upstate Medical Center in New York. He originally obtained a degree in business and communications and worked in the business world before discovering that he really enjoyed the idea of helping people recover from illness or injury. He then realized he wanted more intensive training and a higher level of skill which lead him to apply for and be accepted into the Sacred Heart University Orthopedic Residency Program. His clinical experience is in a variety of inpatient and outpatient settings where he has worked providing rehabilitation in Med-Surg units, spinal surgery units, neurological and vestibular rehabilitation and general orthopedics. John has been active already doing research on Functional Movement Screening for high school athletes, as well as a case report on the use of thrust manipulation on a person with chronic neck pain.
John is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists and the National Strength and Conditioning Association. He holds certifications as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and in Functional Movement Screening.
