Orthopedic Physical Theray Resident
Ben is a recent graduate of the doctoral program in physical therapy from Sacred Heart University following completion of his degree in Health Studies from Boston University. Ben realized following graduation that he wanted to acquire a more in-depth level of knowledge and skill in orthopedic physical therapy so he has been accepted into the Orthopedic Residency Program here. Ben brings a wide range of experiences from his clinical training during the completion of his doctoral studies. He has worked in in-patient acute care where he saw patient immediate post-operative care, skilled nursing rehabilitation for post total knee and hip replacements and fall risk and balance deficiencies as well as outpatient orthopedic diagnosis. Ben’s ambition is to demonstrate leadership and excellence in clinical practice, to increase the access to rehabilitative services for local communities in need and to become a strong advocate for the physical therapy profession.
Ben is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association, and the Orthopedic and Hand Rehabilitation specialty sections.
