Grading Policy, effective Fall 2010:
  •  A numerical range has been defined for each grade for undergraduate courses only.
The Grading System follows:

Note: the following grades are not available for Graduate Courses: C-, D+, D. Grades of P/NP are available only to specially designated courses. The grade range equivalency is only applicable to undergraduate courses.

Other Grades Include:
*These grades and credits are not calculated in the GPA. Once the I and NG grades are changed to a letter grade, the GPA will be recalculated.
  • Incomplete (I): must be completed within deadline otherwise will be changed to an F
  • Pass/No Pass (P/NP): Pass/Fail Option for Undergraduate students who opt for this within University Policy
  • Audit: Indicates auditing the course for no credit
  • Withdrawn (W): Withdrawn from course within University Policy
  • No Grade (NG): Temporary grade when instructor does not assign a grade
