Administrative IT provides support for all administrative, campus-based software applications. We are responsible for developing, implementing, troubleshooting and upgrading these applications; creating and maintaining interfaces to move data between the various applications used; and maintaining the integrity of the data contained in them. Administrative Services is comprised of several unique areas.

Administrative Computing provides project management, system development, support and training for the various software applications used by Faculty and Staff throughout campus. The Mail Center, Duplicating Center and Letter Shop also fall under the realm of Administrative Computing Services.

Sacred Heart University is part of a select group of academic institutions that embrace a mobile computing philosophy. Our Mobile Computing Program issues a laptop to all full-time faculty members, and all full-time undergraduate students are required to have a laptop in support of our mission of “anytime, anywhere” learning. Additionally, we provide campus-wide technical support of all things technology-related.  Our technical service center – The Factory – is comprised of three areas, the Call Center and the Notebook Service Center and Pioneer Computing.
