In addition to the below resources, a hallmark of students’ career development at SHU is one-on-one assistance and support with career indecision, self-assessment, goal setting, action planning, career research and internship/job searches.
PioneerNetwork Online Recruiting Account
SHU’s own online job bank, recruiting system, career research tool and event sign-up portal with over 7,000 employers. PioneerNetwork “Crash Courses” are available weekly to help students get the most out of this tool.
Throughout the year the Career Center hosts on-campus interviews for internships and full-time positions as well as the annual Career Fair with over 100 employers.
Career Connection Workshop Series
Topics include Resume Writing, Navigating a Career Fair, Interviewing Skills, Cover Letter Writing, Graduate School Strategies, Using Social Media, Conducting a Full-Time Job Search and more.
Events on campus throughout the year include Alumni Career Panels at which students network and learn from successful alumni in a variety of fields, employer information sessions, speakers and more.
