Patricia (Trish) Aquila is the Executive Director of the Career Development and Placement Center. Patricia "Trish" has over 20 years of higher education experience, serving SHU students in a variety of roles since 1989 encompassing continuing education, employer outreach, graduate admissions, academic advisement, career counseling, and administration.
A former public school educator and educational counseling practitioner Trish has an MS degree in Community Counseling and is a Licensed Professional Counselor with National Certified Counselor standing.
Along with managerial responsibilities for the Career Center, Trish works with students who are unsure of their educational and career goals. She also serves as an internship and employment career coach for students in the College of Health Professions.
Professional interests and specialties include educational and career counseling, self-esteem and stress management.
