Mission Statement
The Sacred Heart University Career Development and Placement Center strives to facilitate the process of career choice by helping students and alumni focus on a personal sense of meaning and career direction in relation to their distinctive gifts, goals, and vision for living. We offer a technologically state of the art, career development center that provides services and programs for the identification and clarification of unique skills, interests and values; the investigation of career options and the development and the implementation of skills and strategies to achieve career goals.
We assist our students who have matriculated towards a degree, in choosing or changing a major, clarifying interests, finding part-time and summer employment, exploring occupations, obtaining internships, planning and conducting a professional job search, learning network skills, obtaining full-time employment, selecting and being accepted to graduate school.
