"What I love most about the SHU community is how small it is. Unlike other schools, Sacred Heart University is small, allowing for smaller class sizes and more interactions, not only between students and their professors, but also among peers. The size of the school has allowed me to easily make friends both within the Computer Science major and outside of it. I plan on becoming a software developer. Choosing a computer science major and a math minor has definitely helped me work towards this goal because both subjects are key aspects to the profession. Outside of the classroom, I love to play the violin. Most days of the week, you an find me rehearsing with the orchestra, the quartet, or just on my own. I have always loved to play the violin ever since I was little, so I am thankful I was able to continue pursuing my passions at Sacred Heart.

Thank you so much for this scholarship! Paying for school has been a struggle for my family and I, considering my sister and brother are also in college. I really appreciate you choosing me for this scholarship and thank you for this opportunity!"
