Daniel B. Santini Scholarship Fund

About the Scholarship

The Daniel B. Santini Scholarship Fund was established by alumnus Daniel Santini ’17 in the spring of 2021 to support an ascending Welch College of Business & Technology student that has overcome challenges in their pursuit of success. Daniel embraced the SHU culture, participating in numerous academic, volunteer service and leadership activities while earning an undergraduate degree in Marketing with a double minor in Digital Marketing and Small Business Management & Entrepreneurship. Daniel’s aim is to help students like himself be able to leverage all Sacred Heart has to offer in pursuit of their personal and professional goals.

Scholarship Criteria

• Be an incoming or continuing undergraduate student enrolled full-time with a declared major or minor in the Jack Welch College of Business & Technology.  
• Demonstrate financial need.
• Suffer from a chronic or ongoing illness.
• Submit a separate application that includes a personal statement reflecting on living with illness and what the impact of receiving this scholarship will mean to her/him.

From those candidates that meet all the criteria above, priority consideration will be given to: 

• Students that demonstrate a pattern of improved academic performance on their transcript.
• A first generation college student.
