Carole E. Bocccuzzi Memorial Scholarship
About the Scholarship
The Carole E. Boccuzzi Memorial Nursing Scholarship was established in 2010 by the Boccuzzi Family to commemorate the life of Carole E. Boccuzzi who endeavored to contribute to the success of nursing students and exhibited interest in continuing the advancement of the discipline of nursing until her untimely passing in May of 2009. This scholarship supports full-time Nursing students who have completed the fall semester of their Junior year. Applicants must complete an application form, a personal essay and 2 letters of recommendation from Nursing Department faculty members attesting to the candidates clinical practice including respect and sensitivity to patient needs, respect and empathy to patient families and overall persistence in advocating for patients.
