Why’d You Choose SHU?

I originally chose SHU because they are known for having great academic programs, it was close to home, had a great athletic program, and I was offered the biggest academic and athletic scholarship.

What Do You Do Now?

I’m currently in school and working. I am an MBA student with a concentration in Healthcare Management, and I am also a student at UCONN in their Long Term Healthcare program. I am currently interning at nursing homes as an administrator, and I’m a receptionist at a nursing home.

Advice to Underrepresented SHU Students

Don’t let the lack of diversity you see daily limit you physically or mentally. You haven’t gotten here because of happenstance. You are here for a reason. You’re different, so make a difference!
