Mercy Learning Center of Bridgeport, Inc.

This literacy program provides instruction to low income families and teaches skills to women in the Bridgeport area.  The center provides training in math, basic computer skills, literacy skills, English as a second language and GED preparation using a holistic approach in a compassionate, supportive environment.  Their motto is “Educate a woman, educate a family.”

Volunteers are needed to tutor twice a week.  Volunteers are also needed for preschool child care.  An interview is required.
