Best Buddies

Best Buddies is an international non-profit organization that provides opportunities for friendship between people with and without with intellectual disabilities. The relationship the pair forms is always unique and special. There are two ways to become involved with Best  Best Buddies Buddies at Sacred Heart University:

  • Associate membership: assist in fund raising, public relations, attend group outings.
  • College Buddy: one-on-one pairing with an intellectually challenged person. The student agrees to visit and/or call his/her “buddy” once a week throughout the school year.
