First-year students along with a student leader and SHU faculty member spend eight days at Sacred Heart University’s site in Dingle, County Kerry, Ireland. Surrounded by the natural beauty of the Dingle Peninsula, students will be immersed in a journey complete with cultural excursions, archaeological tours, music, hiking, and interactions with the Irish-speaking locals. Throughout the program there will be opportunities for guided reflection to relate students’ experiences in Ireland to questions raised in the Sacred Heart University’s Core curriculum. Participants will earn one academic credit through participation in the course, AN 199: Global Perspectives on The Human Journey.
Students will earn one academic credit for their participation.
$1,200 (plus airfare)
