Offered exclusively for admitted students in the Spring semester, Pioneer for a Day goes beyond just visiting campus and allows you to fully immerse yourself into the college experience at Sacred Heart University!
Upon arrival, you will be assigned to a designated student host who will remain with you throughout your time on campus. Together you will attend a class and experience SHU academic life first-hand, enjoy a meal among other SHU students in one of our state-of-the-art dining facilities, and finally, spend some time exploring and hanging out in one of our residence halls. This exciting opportunity will give you an inside look at what it is like to be a Sacred Heart Pioneer and enable you the chance to ask questions and familiarize yourself even more with the campus!
Dates are offered Tuesday-Thursday based upon availability and the duration of each student’s visit is 3-4 hours. Visit agendas may also be subject to change up until the day of the visit due to possible adjustments to course or other campus schedules.
