Inclusive Excellence Projects & Support

Reporting to the Assistant Director of Multicultural Affairs, the Inclusive Excellence Projects & Support graduate assistant will support the function and initiatives of the Office for Inclusive Excellence (OIE). The role manages the day-to-day functions of the OIE office suite and provides some administrative support to the Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer (CDIO). Ideal candidates for this position will have an interest in advancing diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging with some level of understanding of the subject areas.

  • 35 hours/week
  • Compensation: $27,300
  • Two-year program students are preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage the OIE suite’s front desk
  • Assist with OIE business operations
  • Lead and assist with OIE projects in collaboration with OIE staff
  • Coordinate communication between all OIE staff
  • Assist with OIE marketing and communication, including website review and development, social media management, community messages, creating flyers and more
  • Provide administrative support to the CDIO and the Inclusive Excellence Advisory Council
  • Other duties as assigned
