Ralph Lim, MBA, CFA
Associate Professor of Finance & Economics
Interim Dean of the John F. Welch College of Business from 2008-2009. From 2006-2007, Prof. Lim served as President of the University Academic Assembly (UAA). The UAA is the governance body of the 200+ faculty, librarians, and administrators with faculty rank.
Degrees and Certifications
- BSE in Aerospace Engineering from Princeton University
- MBA in Finance from the Wharton Graduate School of Business, University of Pennsylvania
- Awarded a Charter Financial Analyst (CFA) designation
Teaching Responsibilities
Although Professor Lim has taught every course in Finance, he specializes in Financial Analysis, Investment Management, and Corporate Finance.
Research Interests & Grants
Professor Lim's research interests include financial analysis of the aerospace industry, teaching techniques, and investment management. Recently, IBM Corporation invited him to participate in a round table discussion on the future role of the Chief Financial Officer.
