Abu Amin, Ph.D.
Assistant Professor of Finance
Prior to perusing Ph.D. he worked as a Lecturer at the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. He is a Commonwealth Scholar. He is a member of American Finance Association, European Finance Association and Financial Management Association.

- Ph.D. in Finance from the University of Houston in 2010
- M.Sc. in Economics and Econometrics from the University of Nottingham, U.K.
- M.B.A and B.B.A in Finance from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh
Teaching Responsibilities
Dr. Amin has taught Introduction to Finance, Corporate Finance, Financial Derivatives, Risk and Insurance Management, and Small Business Finance prior to joining Sacred Heart University.
Research Interests & Grants
His research interests include Empirical Corporate Finance, Market Microstructure, and International Finance.
