Russell P. Engel, Ph.D.
Assistant Professor of Business Economics
While at Florida State University, Dr. Engel taught principles classes as a graduate instructor and was a Quinn Fellow working with the experimental economics group. He is a member of the American Economic Association, Southern Economic Association, and the Economic Science Association.

- Bachelor’s Degree in Economics with a minor in Mathematics from Florida State University in 2001
- Ph.D. in Economics from Florida State University in 2007
Research Interests & Grants
His research interests are in Applied Microeconomics, Experimental Economics and Game Theory. Russell’s recent research uses economic experiments to examine labor market contracts and risk preferences.
