My professional interest is in the field of human resource management and how people contribute to the success of the organization. Workplace culture, management style and measurement of performance are other areas of professional interest.

- BA in English from Miami University
- Masters in Public Administration from the University of New Haven
- Doctorate in Educational Leadership from the College of Business at the University of Bridgeport
She teaches undergraduate courses in Human Resources Management, Frontline Supervisory Skills, and Business Ethics. Her graduate courses include The Legal and Social Environment of Business. Dr. Gumbus has taught undergraduate and graduate courses at our Luxembourg campus and has taught undergraduate business students in the Irish Studies program in Dingle. Ireland.
Research Interests & Grants
Her research in Organizational Behavior includes eight articles on human resources and career development. Dr. Gumbus has presented at twenty five regional, national and international conferences.
