Students in this concentration are prepared to work in the field of human resources after studying strategies to recruit, maintain and retain a qualified workforce. International business is all business transactions that are carried out across national borders, ranging from export-import trade to licensing, foreign manufacture, joint ventures, wholly owned subsidiaries, and others. The international manager is subject to new macroenvironmental factors, different constraints, and conflicts resulting from different laws, cultures and societies. The marketing concentration is designed for Business Administration majors who wish to gain deeper knowledge about the marketing function of an enterprise. This concentration serves as a unique resource to learn the application of marketing knowledge, theory, and skills, with which to facilitate relationships between organizations and customers. Students learn about the marketing processes that help determine the development, pricing and distribution of products as well as about marketing communication efforts such as advertising and promotions. In addition, throughout our courses, we address the impact of technological developments and globalization on the marketing function, as well as stress the importance of ethical business decisions and social responsibility.
