Each month, the John F. Welch College of Business will showcase the accomplishments of one Business student who exemplifies what it means to succeed in today’s business world.

Getting an early start is key to not only choosing a career, but in building your resume as well. As Mary Harada, Chief Financial Officer at RWN Management, LLC pointed out, “When hiring college graduates, we expect the grades to be there for everyone we interview. It’s the social conscience piece that sets students apart. We’re looking for employees with etiquette, with experience, and with the ability to carry on a conversation.”

The Welch Experience is designed to deliver what employers are looking for. The Welch Spotlight highlights students who are already developing a strong professional portfolio—students who understand that learning takes place both inside and outside of the classroom.
