A total of 60 credit hours of graduate course work is required for the MBA degree with a minimum GPA of 3.0. Depending on undergraduate preparation, students can reduce credit hours by as many as 15 credits. Regardless of the number of transfer credits and waivers for which a student may be eligible, a minimum of 36 credit hours must be taken at Sacred Heart University.

The MBA curriculum for students with an undergraduate degree in Business will generally consist of 51 credit hours or less of 600-Level courses. Students who have weak undergraduate grades or have not taken undergraduate business courses in Accounting, Economics, and Statistics will be required to take the equivalent as prerequisite to the MBA program. International students may be required to take one or more English courses.
